Cancelation Policy
It is requested that cancellation of therapies be done with as much notice as possible. If an individual becomes ill on that day, this is understandable. Missed therapy sessions will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time. | |
NSSLS is closed on major holidays, but open on many other holidays throughout the year. If you plan on being away, please make these arrangements in your therapy schedule. | |
To ensure a client's progress, consistent attendance is expected. Rescheduling missed appointments is strongly encouraged. A 30% fee will be requested for therapies that are missed without notice, and if three sessions are missed, then NSSLS reserves the right to terminate services. | |
Being in New England, weather is always an issue in the winter. If NSSLS remains open and a client is unable to attend their therapy on an inclement day, that session will be offered to be made up during the same week. |
Payment Policy & Insurance
Payment is expected at the time of services rendered for evaluations. | |
Payment for therapy services is done monthly. An invoice will be provided for the entire month of therapies and payment is requested at the first session of each month in full. This invoice can be submitted by the client to your insurance company along with a "Superbill" that will state the diagnosis code, procedure code and all other necessary information for a family to submit for reimbursement based upon their insurance policy. North Shore Speech & Language Services does not directly file with insurance companies. This is the responsibility of the client and the necessary information will be provided on the Superbill form by NSSLS. |
Games are usualy played during a child’s session. We have many games to choose from and enjoy.
